Quick stop last night for a cocktail with friends. We ran into some friends and were able to get chairs at the bar. The place was packed and the food smelled amazing, staff was very engaging and we had a great visit. We only ordered the octopus to try and it was excellent!! Tender, smoky tasting and super tasty!! Next visit to Sausalito I'll stick around for dinner. Great energy/vibe in this restaurant.

Little too uppity for my taste. Service was excellent and Michael took amazing care of us. Food was hot and fresh. The vibe was sophisticated casual with linen table clothes and napkins. I had the shrimp pasta dish and it had nice big shrimp.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It was pretty busy outside but plenty of indoor seating, and there was no wait for indoor but we had dogs in our party so had to wait for an outdoor table. The wait was about 40 minutes but worth it. We ordered a mushroom pizza and chicken liver pate for appetizers, and we each had our own pasta dish. Everything tasted amazing and the service was steller! We even ordered Italian cappacinos and lattes at the end before leaving.

Good.... But could have been great! I met my folks to celebrate my moms birthday. When we came in they sat us in one of the worst tables, right next to the bar, foot traffic and the TV with the debate on it. We asked to move which they found us a better table. The service was odd, no one ever greeted us, finally one person came up, didn't say hi and asked what we wanted to drink. We had multiple people waiting on us, but no one was really that friendly. The food saved it, but was really under seasoned! We had the prosciutto and melon, octopus and the chicken liver mouse. The appetizers were all phenomenal, nothing bad to say about any of it. The chicken liver really stole the show! It was so rush and flavorful and hit all the notes, good acid and fruit. For entree we had the 3 person porter house steak and it was cooked to perfection! It just needed salt like a lot of salt as did the mashed potatoes and spinach. Once salted, it was delicious and really I can't understate how well they cooked it. We requested rare to medium-rare. For dessert my mom had chocolate cake, which they put a candle in and offered to sing, which we liked, because my mom would not have liked it. Her cake was good, but too rich for me. My dad had the tiramisu and it was fantastic, it's one of my favorites and they make a great one. I had the summer tart and I loved it, the crust was incredible.

Amazing food, service and location! One of our favorite places to eat in Bay Area! We shared the fire roasted octopus, arugula salad, and Calabrese pizza...YUM!

We came here because our friends highly recommended this restaurant. It is situated in Sausalito and just a short drive over the bridge if you are staying near the Fisherman's Wharf ad we did. For appetizers we ordered the Fegatini and Polpo. Both appetizers were delicious! For my entree I ordered the Tagliatelle. It wasn't the most delicious dish I ever tried but it was still good. A little touch of salt would have made it better. The server was a little slow for us, but overall, the location was great and being able to sit outside was a plus.

Pasta was delicious. My salad was delicious. It was overall too fancy for the kids; The menu was limited for them. The service was excellent, BUT they stuffed us in the corner at a table that unbeknownst to us beforehand obstructed the stairs to the hotel upstairs; people were squeezing behind our chairs to use the stairs the entire meal. We wanted to eat outside but not with people squeezing by and hitting our chairs the entire time. I would have given 5 stars but am only giving 4 because of the stairs.

Old school Italian restaurant with excellent service. They had a very yummy espresso Martini, but the old fashion was really watered down and could use a big cube of ice instead of tiny ice chips that melts so quickly. Our favorite dish of the night was Octopus. The squid ink pasta was yummy as well.
